2004 - Celebration of the 50 year anniversary of the 1954 Premiership. Worn against Melbourne at the MCG, where the AFL also presented a back-dated 1954 Premiership Cup to Charlie Sutton.

2005 - Worn as part of a Sponsorship deal with Origin Energy.

Chris Grant’s Games Record Match

2006 - Worn when Chris Grant broke Doug Hawkin’s games record for the Club.

Black Saturday appeal

2009 - Worn in a pre-season match against Essendon, which was the first game in Victoria following the Black Saturday Bushfires.

Emergency Services Appreciation Game

2009 - Worn against North Melbourne to celebrate Emergency Services Personnel following the Black Saturday Bushfires.

Brad Johnson’s Games Record Match

2009 - Worn in the match Brad Johnson broke Chris Grant’s games record for the club.

Hall of Fame

2010 & 2012 - worn to coincide with the first two Hall of Fame dinners.

Bulldoze the Debt

2011 - Worn to celebrate donors at the Red, White & Blue ribbon event at the Whitten Oval which raised $1.12 million. The feedback from fans following the team wearing the traditional hoops partially led to the club changing back to our traditional jumper in 2012.

2013 - Worn to celebrate members in that season with names being printed on the jumper.

2015 - Design chosen by members based on a number of designs incorporating the clubs’ new logo.

2016 - Worn when the club participated in White Ribbon activities to raise awareness to end Family & Domestic Violence.

Good Friday Appeal - 2017

2017 - worn in the first match on Good Friday to raise funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

Bob Murphy’s 300th

2017 - Designed to look like a traditional jumper by captain Bob Murphy for his 300th Game.

Multicultural Round

2017 - Designed to celebrate the multiculturalism Melbourne’s west.

The jumper incorporated elements of Russian, Indian, African, Chinese, Italian and Polish print and was inspired by the idea of blending together different cultural artwork styles to create a piece of art that represents the joining of many heritages and cultures to create one harmonious community.

The Bulldogs’ spiritual home of Footscray is characterised by a diverse multicultural community, which reflects the successive waves of immigration experienced by Melbourne, and Footscray in particular.

2019 - worn at the first game at Marvel Stadium, with Chris Hemsworth in attendance at the match with Matt Damon.
